How to use
Sildenafil Citrate Jelly is taken orally when needed, but no more than once a day. Tear the corner off the sachet and suck the jelly out approximately 15 minutes before planned sexual intercourse.

Follow the instructions of your doctor exactly, even if they differ from the usually recommended dosage.

Overdose
Potential symptoms of a Sildenafil Jelly overdose include:

• Severe dizziness
• Fainting
• Prolonged or painful erection (longer than 4 hours)

If you suspect you have taken too much of this medication, you should contact your local poison control center or the emergency medical services immediately.

Missed Dose
Sildenafil Jelly is only taken when needed to engage in sexual intercourse, therefore you are not likely to miss a dose.

Notes

Do not share this medication with others, since they may have a problem that is not effectively treated by Sildenafil Jelly. 

Using this medication does not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases (e.g. HIV, Hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis).

Storage
Store Sildenafil Jelly at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C), away from light and moisture. KEEP THIS AND ALL MEDICATIONS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Precautions
Before using Sildenafil Jelly, you should inform your doctor of all conditions you suffer from or ever have suffered from, especially of:

• Any allergies
• Penis conditions such as fibrosis and scarring (e.g. Peyronie's disease)
• History of painful or prolonged erections (priapism)
• Sickle cell anemia
• Blood system cancers (such as leukemia or myeloma)
• Eye problems (retina diseases)
• Kidney or liver diseases
• Bleeding disorders
• Active stomach ulcers
• Heart diseases
• Strokes
• Very high or low blood pressure

To avoid getting dizzy or lightheaded when rising from a sitting or lying position, you should get up slowly.

Sildenafil Jelly should not be used by women or children. Elderly people may be more sensitive to the side effects of this medication, therefore caution is advised for anyone from this age group using Sildenafil Jelly. 

Drug Interactions
Before taking Sildenafil CitrateJelly, you should tell your doctor about all the prescription and non-prescription medication you use. Especially mention:

• Nitrate medications (e.g. Nitroglycerin, Isosorbide dinitrate)
• Nitroprusside (any nitric oxide donor medicines)
• Cimetidine
• Erythromycin
• Azole antifungals (e.g. Itraconazole, Ketoconazole)
• Mibefradil
• Rifamycins (e.g. Rifampin)
• High blood pressure medication
• Certain HIV protease inhibitors (such as Saquinavir, Ritonavir, Amprenavir)
• Delavirdine

This list is not complete and there may be other drugs that can interact with Sildenafil Jelly. Tell your doctor about all your prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start a new medication without telling your doctor.

Common potential side effects of Sildenafil Jelly include:

• Headache
• Flushing
• Stomach upsets
• Nasal stuffiness
• Diarrhea
• Dizziness

Let your doctor know straightaway if any of the above side effects persist or worsen.

Also inform your doctor promptly should the following unlikely but serious side effects occur:

• Urination problems (e.g. pain)
• Vision problems
• Skin rash

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following very unlikely but very serious side effects:

• Chest pain
• Fainting
• Swelling of the foot or ankle

If you experience a painful or prolonged erection (lasts longer than 4 hours), you should stop using Sildenafil Jelly immediately and seek emergency medical attention.

This is only a partial list of possible side effects of Sildenafil Citrate Jelly and others may occur. Notify your doctor straightaway if you experience any side effects other than the ones mentioned above, especially if they become bothersome.
